Gray Color: use peach or watermelon flavored Jello with fat-free evaporated milk plus water (see above) and 15 drops each of red, green and blue food coloring.Dark Red Color: use peach or watermelon flavored Jello mixed with fat-free evaporated milk plus water.Light Red Color: use a red based Jello such as raspberry, strawberry or cherry plus water and Cool Whip.To make the Jello more creamier use a 1/2 – 1 whole can of fat-free evaporated milk along with 2 1/2 cups boiling water and 1 cup cold water.If you want a firmer Jello brain, use less water or add two packages of unflavored gelatin.Want to make for adults? If you’re looking for a creepy and fun recipe, try this one. Melt down some strawberry jelly in the microwave. To unmold dip the mold up to the rim in warm water for about 15 seconds. Refrigerate until gelatin is set but not firm (should stick the finger when touched.) Then gently pour the blue-ish purple gelatin into the mold. Meanwhile, the in first bowl, stir in sweetened condensed milk until mixture is even. Place the mold back in the freezer and return any unused gelatin back into the bowl with the blue-ish purple gelatin and leave at room temperature. If the mold is cold enough the gelatin should stick. Fill a needleless syringe or a medicine dropper with this thickened gelatin and gently apply it to the “veins” inside the mold. Pour 1/4 cup of that mixture into a small bowl and place in the freezer to thicken into almost set. Pour 3/4 cup of the mixture into a separate bowl and stir in the food coloring to make the mixture a blue-ish purple color. Stir in the boiling water until gelatin begins to dissolve then stir in the black cherry flavored gelatin until all is dissolved. In a bowl, sprinkle unflavored gelatin evenly over cold water and allow the gelatin to absorb the water for two minutes. Place the clean, empty mold into the freezer. A little melted down strawberry jelly for blood sauce adds the finishing touch.
